In occasione del cinquantesimo anniversario del primo (e unico) ncontro fra Beatles e Elvis Presley, BBC Radio 2 ha deciso di rivelare la lista completa delle 50 canzoni più vendute nella storia della rock band i Liverpool: in cima alla top 50, contrariamente a quello che avremmo potuto pensare, c’è la stupenda She Loves You.
Il pezzo in questione, scritto da John Lennon and Paul McCartney e uscito nel 1963, rimase per 6 settimane non consecutive in cima alla classifica dei singoli nello Uk, battendo così il record come singolo più venduto negli anni 60 in Inghilterra. Ad oggi, She loves you ha venduto ben 1,92 milioni di copie.
